An eight-year-old Hindu student at Vicar's Green Primary School in London was reportedly forced to change schools after facing alleged discrimination for wearing a Tilak-Chandlo, a sacred Hindu forehead symbol. Advocacy group Insight UK stated the child was questioned about his religious practice, monitored in an intimidating manner by the headteacher, and removed from positions of responsibility. The child's parents and other Hindu families sought dialogue with the school, which reportedly dismissed their concerns. If confirmed, these actions may constitute religious discrimination under the UK's Equality Act 2010.
