In Assam's Bajali district, youth Shourav Joyti Das distributed 500 saplings on New Year's Day as a tribute to singer Zubeen Garg's love for nature. Das, who grew the saplings himself, planted them at temples and other locations to promote environmental conservation. Temple committees and locals praised the initiative, highlighting the youth's dedication to nature and inspiring others to contribute to a greener future.
