An NGO, Angel Old Age Home (AOAH), has opened a facility in Fatehpur subdivision for childless, abandoned, and destitute elderly individuals. Founded by Alka Sharma, the home will initially house 25 residents, offering free shelter, food, and healthcare. The initiative aims to serve the lower Kangra region, inspired by requests from elderly persons facing hardship. The NGO also operates a disability and orphanage home, having treated numerous children and individuals since its inception.
