152 NCC Cadets Trained as First Responders for Disaster Management in Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh has trained 152 NCC cadet volunteers, including 80 girls, as first responders in disaster management following a Combined Annual Training Camp at Dera Natung Government College. Organised by the 1 Arunachal Pradesh Battalion NCC and the State Disaster Management Authority, the program focused on disaster preparedness, search and rescue, first aid, casualty evacuation, and coordination with civil authorities. Training emphasized region-specific disasters like earthquakes, floods, landslides, and cloudbursts to enhance emergency response capabilities.
