PGI Marks 12th Annual Research Day Highlighting Patient-Centric Innovation and Research Achievements

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) celebrated its 12th Annual Research Day, highlighting 329 published research papers, 59 innovations including seven patents, and around 250 externally funded projects totaling nearly Rs 140 crore. PGI Director Dr Vivek Lal emphasized the need for patient-centric innovation alongside clinical care. AIIMS Dean Prof. Nikhil Tandon praised PGI's research quality and discussed the challenges clinician-scientists face balancing patient care and research, also noting the role of AI in healthcare.
