Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) implemented an e-dip random allotment system for Vaikuntha Ekadasi darshan tokens on December 30, aiming for transparency. Devotees from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana secured the largest share of tokens, with 92,221 and 49,127 allotted respectively. This system, driven by technology, allocates slots randomly. TTD officials stated the process is system-driven, countering allegations of disproportionate token distribution to other states. Higher registration from Telugu states is attributed to greater awareness of the new system.
