Surat Firefighters Recover Rs 2 Lakh Accidentally Immersed in Canal with Puja Offerings

In Surat, Gujarat, the Limba family accidentally immersed Rs 2 lakh in cash along with puja offerings into a canal after a religious ritual. The money, kept near their safe, was mistakenly included with the items for immersion. Upon realizing the error, the family contacted local firefighters, who conducted a search despite challenging conditions and recovered the cash. Two firefighters sustained minor injuries during the operation. The family expressed gratitude for the prompt and successful recovery.
