A 57-year-old man in Surat, Gujarat, narrowly escaped death after falling from his 10th-floor apartment window and getting stuck by his leg in an 8th-floor window grill. The man, Nitin Adiya, dangled upside down for nearly an hour before a coordinated rescue operation by the fire brigade, involving safety nets, ropes, and cutting the grill, safely brought him to safety. He was taken to a hospital for evaluation and is reportedly out of danger.
