Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Development Authority Commissioner Shekhar Singh assured that basic amenities will soon be provided to akhadas for sadhus and mahants in Trimbakeshwar ahead of the Kumbh Mela. District Collector Ayush Prasad announced a cleanliness drive starting January 3, coinciding with the Sant Nivruttinath Maharaj Yatra. Discussions were held with religious leaders and officials regarding planned infrastructure improvements, including new ghats, road widening, and enhanced water, electricity, and sanitation services, with special attention to the Godavari River's cleanliness.
