Indian Medical Students in Iran Seek Exam Postponement Amid Evacuation Advisory

Amid rising US-Iran tensions, India has advised its nationals, including around 1,000-1,500 medical students mainly from Jammu and Kashmir, to leave Iran. However, many students face a dilemma as crucial medical exams scheduled for early March have not been postponed, risking delays in their academic progress and degree recognition. The All India Medical Students Association has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for diplomatic intervention to seek exam rescheduling, allowing students to return safely without academic penalties.
