Madhya Pradesh Celebrates Week-Long Bhagoria Festival with Government Engagement

The week-long Bhagoria festival, celebrated by tribal communities in Madhya Pradesh's Jhabua, Alirajpur, Khargone, Barwani, and Dhar districts, began on February 24 and runs until March 2. Marking the arrival of spring, the festival features vibrant markets, traditional music, dance, and social customs like partner selection. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced plans to hold the state's 'Krishi Cabinet' meeting during the festival and aims to recognize Bhagoria as a national event. The festival attracts both local participants and tourists.
