Elderly Man Dies After Elephant Attack in Jharkhand's Latehar District

An elderly man named Tibhru Ganjhu was trampled to death by a wild elephant around 10 pm on Thursday in Bhandar Toli village, Latehar district, Jharkhand. The incident occurred when he went outside his home to relieve himself. A forest team provided immediate relief of Rs 40,000 to the family, with the total compensation of Rs 4 lakh to be given after official procedures, according to forest officials.
