Bengaluru Authority Directs Waste Segregation and Infrastructure Inspections Amid Public Grievances

At a public meeting at Bengaluru East City Corporation, Greater Bengaluru Authority Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao addressed over 150 grievances, focusing on waste management and urban infrastructure. Rao directed officials to mandate separate bins for wet and dry waste in buildings with more than two or three floors, with compliance enforcement. Residents also raised concerns about building violations, e-Khata record issues, footpath repairs, illegal constructions, and road widening. Officials were instructed to inspect affected areas and take necessary actions.
