Mumbai Metro to Operate Two Line 3 Stations Exclusively with Women Staff on Women's Day

To mark International Women's Day on March 8, the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) will operate Marol Naka and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) stations on Metro Line 3 entirely with women staff. This initiative involves 85 women in roles including station control, ticketing, security, maintenance, and housekeeping. MMRC highlights the growing participation of women in metro operations, including 27 female train operators, as part of its commitment to an inclusive workforce.
