Gangtok Traffic Police Deploys Drones to Enhance Traffic Management

Gangtok Traffic Police has introduced two advanced drones to improve traffic management and public safety in the city. These drones will monitor traffic in congested and residential areas, identify bottlenecks affecting emergency vehicles, and assist in crowd management during major events. Sponsored by the State Bank of India, the initiative aims to modernize traffic regulation through real-time surveillance and data-driven planning.
