Mumbai Metro Line 3 will operate overnight on New Year's Eve to manage crowds and reduce road traffic, offering a safe and convenient travel option. This initiative by the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) complements extra local train services by Central and Western Railways, and special bus services by BEST. The underground Metro Line 3 spans 33.5 km, connecting Colaba to Aarey JVLR via BKC with 27 stations.
