Rangbhari Ekadashi 2026: Date, Significance, and Tulsi Rituals for Devotees

Rangbhari Ekadashi, also known as Amalaki Ekadashi, will be observed on February 27, 2026, during the Shukla Paksha of Phalgun, just before Holi. Devotees fast and worship Lord Vishnu, seeking blessings for prosperity and spiritual growth. On this day, offering water to or plucking Tulsi leaves is prohibited, but special rituals such as lighting 11 lamps near the Tulsi plant, chanting specific mantras, applying Tulsi root soil as tilak, and tying a red scarf around the plant are performed to invite positivity and fulfill wishes.
