MIT ADT Students Resume Protest Over Garbage Dumping in Mula-Mutha River

Nearly 6,000 students from MIT ADT University in Pune have resumed protests against the daily dumping of 35 to 40 tractor-loads of garbage into the Mula-Mutha river by local gram panchayats. The agitation follows a fire in accumulated waste on February 26 that caused toxic smoke and health issues. Despite a temporary suspension after police mediation and a seven-day deadline, students allege no concrete action or alternative disposal site has been provided. The protest continues with support from ABVP amid heavy police presence.
