In Madhya Pradesh's Khargone district, a pregnant woman named Baisu was forced to deliver her baby girl outside the locked Shivna Primary Health Centre due to absent medical staff. Despite repeated calls, no doctor or nurse was available, and the family had to deliver the baby themselves. Show-cause notices were issued to the responsible health workers. Following the incident, officials visited the site, and Baisu and her newborn were referred to a district hospital for further care. Other pregnant women were also reportedly turned away that day.
