Northern India Observes International Women's Day with Celebrations and Empowerment Events

International Women's Day was marked across northern India with events celebrating women's empowerment and achievements. Chandigarh hosted a half marathon themed 'Unstoppable Her,' with over 1,000 participants and honoured 27 women achievers through awards and a booklet launch. In Gurugram, community groups recognised women leaders with awards and organised sessions on cyber security and legal rights, combining cultural performances with awareness initiatives to promote gender equality and leadership.
