A thick layer of toxic froth has reappeared on the Yamuna River in Delhi's Kalindi Kunj ghat, rendering large sections of the water body nearly invisible. Environmentalists note that the water quality, indicated by high Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and fecal coliform levels, remains severely polluted. Despite past clean-up efforts, the pollution persists, with garbage also accumulating along the riverbanks, disrupting the river's ecology.
