The 56th Annual Convention of the Thane District Library Association, Thane Granthotsav 2025, was celebrated in Navi Mumbai on December 28-29, 2025. Organized by various government departments and library associations, the event included book exhibitions, sales, panel discussions, and cultural programs. A book procession, 'Granth Dindi,' kicked off the festivities, involving students and library members to promote reading culture and strengthen public libraries.
