
Unseasonal rains and strong winds struck Maharashtra's Beed district, particularly in Parli and Ambajogai tehsils, damaging standing crops such as jowar, wheat, gram, and orchards including mango and watermelon. The weather event occurred within 24 hours, destroying harvest-ready crops and causing distress among farmers. Parli MLA Dhananjay Munde has instructed the district collector to conduct damage assessments and report losses to the government.
