
Goa has introduced floating rescue stations called 'Seahorse' along its beaches to enhance emergency response times. Each station is equipped with two jet skis ready for immediate deployment. The state has also deployed around 104 Tourist Police personnel and Beach Wardens to improve safety for over 10 million annual visitors. Since installation, the Seahorse stations have aided in two rescue operations, saving 13 people. Tourists have welcomed these safety measures, noting improved security and facilities.
