NCPCR and Arunachal Pradesh Hold State-Level Events on Child Rights and Protection

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), in collaboration with Arunachal Pradesh's Women and Child Development department, held state-level events addressing child rights. Over six months, NCPCR disposed of 31,000 cases, rescued nearly 2,800 children, and repatriated about 1,800 to care institutions. Officials emphasized coordinated efforts among stakeholders to improve child protection, highlighted challenges like unrecognized private schools and bullying, and called for stricter implementation of child protection laws and qualified appointments to key bodies.
