The Nagaland Government Teachers' Association (NGTA) is continuing and intensifying its protest demanding the inclusion of their salary components under the State Non-Development Expenditure at the Directorate of School Education. Despite multiple agitations, including a seven-day ultimatum, pen-down strikes, and peaceful demonstrations involving over 2,000 teachers, the government has not responded positively. The NGTA plans to escalate the protest from March 2 at Solidarity Park, Kohima, maintaining peaceful and democratic methods until their demand is met.
