Swami Vivekananda's Vision for Youth and Education Celebrated

Swami Vivekananda, a prominent Indian thinker, philosopher, and social reformer, emphasized the critical role of youth in national development. His birthday, January 12th, is celebrated as National Youth Day to honor his vision of self-confidence, selfless service, and spiritual strength. Vivekananda believed education was key to empowerment, a principle that inspired the establishment of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas (VKVs) in Arunachal Pradesh starting in 1977. These institutions have since expanded, with over 41 VKVs in the state, producing alumni who serve in various professions and as responsible citizens.
