
The National Consumer Helpline (NCH) facilitated Rs 45 crore in refunds for 67,265 consumer grievances between April and December 2025. E-commerce led with Rs 32 crore in refunds from nearly 40,000 complaints, followed by travel and tourism at Rs 3.5 crore. The NCH, a government initiative under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, aims for speedy, pre-litigation dispute resolution, reducing the burden on consumer commissions and serving consumers nationwide.
