In Bangladesh's Pirojpur district, at least five homes belonging to a Hindu family were torched in Dumritala village on December 28. This incident is suspected to be a targeted attack on minorities. It follows a December 18 attack in Mymensingh where a Hindu man was lynched and his body set ablaze over blasphemy allegations.
