Authorities Inspect Alleged Illegal Borewell Drilling by Temple Trust in Aravalli Forest

Environmentalist Vaishali Rana has alleged that the Kholiwale Baba Temple Trust resumed illegal borewell drilling within the protected Aravalli forest area in Gurugram, despite the issue being under National Green Tribunal (NGT) consideration. She urged authorities for immediate action, citing ecological concerns and regulatory violations. Following her complaint, forest officials inspected the site, halted the drilling, filed a forest offence report, and are awaiting further proceedings. Authorities have stated that appropriate action will be taken based on inspection findings.
