The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) confirmed that two cheetahs, KP-2 and KP-3, born in India from African translocated cheetahs, have naturally moved from Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh to Baran in Rajasthan, traveling 60-70 km. This movement reflects typical territorial behavior and supports the planned 17,000 sq km Kuno-Gandhi Sagar inter-state wildlife corridor. Both cheetahs are monitored via GPS and radio collars by joint teams from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan forest departments.
