Rapper Badshah has been summoned by the Haryana State Commission for Women (HSCW) over alleged objectionable lyrics in his recently released Haryanvi song 'Tateeree,' which critics say contain indecent language and objectify women and minors. The commission, taking suo motu cognisance after complaints from local groups, has scheduled a hearing on March 13, 2026, in Panipat. An FIR has also been registered by Panchkula police citing obscenity and inappropriate visuals, including scenes with girls in school uniforms. HSCW chairperson Renu Bhatia questioned how the song passed regulatory approval despite these concerns.
