The Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) has submitted a draft action plan to the state government aimed at protecting approximately 25,000 children displaced by the ongoing ethnic conflict. The plan was presented during a multi-stakeholder meeting in Bishnupur, involving government officials, child rights bodies, and NGOs. The MCPCR is seeking suggestions on the draft, which focuses on protection mechanisms and transitional support for internally displaced children.
