Devi Ahilya University Expels Female Student from Hostel Over Conduct Allegations

Devi Ahilya University in Indore expelled a first-year female student from its hostel following complaints from multiple residents alleging objectionable conduct during video calls and use of inappropriate items in the hostel room. An internal inquiry and room search reportedly confirmed these allegations. University officials stated the decision aimed to prevent potential issues for other female students. The university, established in 1964, has about 200 affiliated colleges.
