Jallikattu Events in Mangalapuram and Kovilur Leave Over 80 Injured

Two jallikattu events held in Mangalapuram and Kovilur villages resulted in injuries to 42 and 43 participants respectively. Around 700 bulls were released at each event, with 262 tamers in Mangalapuram and 220 in Kovilur. Several injured individuals were referred to Pudukottai Government Medical College Hospital, while others received treatment on-site. Police reported one bull was injured during the Mangalapuram event.
