Survey Finds One-Third of Gen Z Men Support Traditional Marital Roles Globally

A global survey of 23,000 people across 29 countries found that nearly one-third of Gen Z men believe a wife should obey her husband, with 33% saying husbands should have the final say in marriage decisions. These views are more prevalent among Gen Z men than Baby Boomer men. The study also revealed mixed attitudes, with many Gen Z men admiring successful women yet holding traditional views on gender roles and masculinity. Women across generations generally held less traditional views.
