Lucknow will inaugurate a 15-acre rose garden, India's second largest, at Janeshwar Mishra Park on February 28, accompanied by a day-long festival themed "Love for the Environment." Organized by the Lucknow Development Authority and the Repertwahr Foundation, the event aims to promote environmental awareness through dialogues, cultural performances, workshops, and tree-planting drives using the Miyawaki afforestation method. The festival encourages community participation, especially among youth, to support sustainable urban development and expand the city's green cover.
