Over one lakh devotees visited the Sri Parthasarathi Perumal temple in Triplicane on Vaikuntha Ekadashi. The temple opened its doors at 2 a.m., with the Sorgavasal opening at 4 a.m. for the utsava deity. Elaborate arrangements included separate queues for seniors, distribution of water bottles, and religious offerings. The festivities also mark the commencement of Raa Pathu, with the deity adorned in pearls, and the chanting of Nalayira Divya Prabandham over several days.
