
Heavy snowfall and flash floods across Afghanistan over the last three days have resulted in 12 deaths and 11 injuries, according to the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority. The severe weather also destroyed 274 houses completely and damaged 1,558 partially. Economic experts highlighted that recurring floods, exacerbated by inadequate infrastructure and poor management, place significant economic pressure on families and the nation's economy, leading to substantial annual losses.
