Pune Dental College HoD Dies by Suicide Citing Work-Related Stress

Raju Patil, Head of Department at Sinhgad Dental College in Pune, died by suicide at his residence, with police recovering a note citing work-related stress as the reason. Found by his wife on Friday, Patil is survived by his wife, who also works at the college, and two sons. Authorities have registered an accidental death report and are investigating, including verifying the note and questioning family and associates. Preliminary inquiries found no direct link to recent staff salary issues.
