Uttar Pradesh Announces 2026-27 Admission Schedule for RTE 25% Quota in Private Schools

The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department has announced the admission schedule for the 2026-27 academic year under the 25 per cent reservation mandated by the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009, for private schools. Admissions for pre-primary and Class 1 will be conducted online through a lottery system in three phases from February 2 to March 25. Required documents include Aadhaar card of a parent, birth certificate, income and residence proofs, caste certificate if applicable, ration card, and pension or disability certificates. No fees will be charged for admitted children, with the government reimbursing schools. Officials have been directed to ensure timely completion and transparency throughout the process.
