Delhi Revokes GRAP Stage IV as Air Quality Improves to 'Very Poor' Category

Delhi's air quality improved marginally from 'severe' to 'very poor' on January 20-21, leading the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to revoke Stage IV restrictions under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). The AQI dropped from above 400 to around 378, allowing some easing of curbs like truck entry and construction resumption. However, pollution remains high across many areas, and Stages I-III restrictions continue amid forecasts of persistent 'very poor' air quality due to winter conditions and limited meteorological relief.
