
Seventy-five-year-old Bidyadhar Bora, a cottage artisan from Rupai Siding near Doomdooma, Assam, has dedicated nearly six decades to preserving the traditional bamboo and cane craft. Despite the prevalence of modern materials, Bora continues to create essential household items using age-old techniques passed down from his grandfather.
