
Chief Justice of India Surya Kant flagged off and participated in a Women's Day walkathon in Chandigarh aimed at raising awareness about women's rights. The 2.5 km event, starting from Sukhna Lake's police post to the Open Hand Monument, included young lawyers and judges. The walkathon and a plantation drive were part of the India International Disputes Week. Justice Kant also inaugurated the Chandigarh International Arbitration Centre and delivered a keynote address on cross-border dispute services.
