
A tiger that had been sighted near Rehua Mansoor village in Bahraich district, Uttar Pradesh, for four days was tranquillised and captured by forest department officials. The animal's presence caused concern among locals due to previous predator attacks in the area. The rescue operation involved drone surveillance and trained elephants from Dudhwa Tiger Reserve. The tiger was sedated safely and taken for medical examination, with no harm reported to humans or animals.
