RPF Inspector Chandana Sinha Honoured for Rescuing Over 1,500 Children from Trafficking

Railway Protection Force Inspector Chandana Sinha received Indian Railways' highest service honour, the Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puruskar, for rescuing over 1,500 children from trafficking and exploitation. Working primarily in Uttar Pradesh and under Operation Nanhe Farishte, she developed innovative methods to identify vulnerable children and built a network with NGOs and informers. Her efforts focus on child safety across railway stations, emphasizing prevention and rehabilitation through collaboration with child welfare authorities.
