Piyush Kapoor, a 32-year-old software engineer at Google's Mountain View, California office, secured the 402nd rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. An IIT-BHU graduate from Lucknow, Kapoor balanced his demanding tech career with disciplined study sessions of 2-3 hours daily, leveraging the 13-hour time difference between India and the US. Despite five attempts, he remained motivated by family support and a desire to serve society, achieving this milestone while working abroad.
