Asia's Largest Tulip Garden Opens Early in Srinagar, Boosting Spring Tourism

Asia's largest tulip garden, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar, opened early on March 16, 2026, showcasing nearly 18 lakh tulip bulbs across over 70 varieties. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated the garden, praising the floriculture team and highlighting efforts to boost tourism and develop local tulip cultivation.
