Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal is facing a safety concern after newly supplied radiant warmers for newborns were found with cracked plates. Approximately 900 such warmers were procured by the Madhya Pradesh Health Corporation Limited for government hospitals across the state at a cost of Rs 6.5 crore. Despite reports of defects from Hamidia and other districts, hospital administration and health officials have not taken responsibility for the procurement of the faulty equipment, which is crucial for regulating infant body temperature.
