The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is expanding its automatic misting system to 24 major roads to reduce dust and air pollution. Currently, 17 mist sprayers cover nearly 29 kilometers and 1,323 electric poles on roads like Lodhi Road and Shanti Path. The next phase will add systems on 10 more roads with higher pollution levels, at a cost of Rs 4.94 crore including operation and maintenance. NDMC aims to improve air quality and environmental conditions in central Delhi through this initiative.
